ABOUT ME

Giving volume to thought, depth to imagination, and movement to surfaces.
As a paper engineer, illustrator, and author, I dedicate my research to the transformation of paper. Over the years, I have created the concepts, illustrations, and paper engineering for more than 100 international publications, exploring the infinite possibilities of paper architecture—from pop-up books for children to bespoke projects for design and haute couture.
My journey began at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, a city with a millennial bond to printing and paper. This artistic foundation has allowed me to move between seemingly distant worlds: designing interactive books, installations, and animated cardboard window displays for major brands and prestigious luxury houses (from Gucci and Bottega Veneta to La Rinascente), while also stepping onto the stage as a set designer and live performance artist for national productions.
Today, I pass on the passion and technical complexity of this discipline by teaching Paper Technology at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, as well as through specialized master’s programs and workshops. When I am not immersed in folds, die-cuts, and digital layouts, I seek that same sense of freedom and dynamism in nature, exploring rivers in a kayak or trekking in the mountains.
